Dr. Rick Lanman MD is a physician and biotechnology entrepreneur who served as Chief Medical Officer of Guardant Health, Inc., Veracyte, Inc., and diaDexus, Inc. from seed stage through public companies. His career focused on accelerating physician and insurance payer adoption of new technologies that improve patient care. He has authored over 130 peer-reviewed scientific publications across oncology, genomics, and multiple other medical specialties. Dr. Lanman completed his internship and residency at the University of California San Francisco, after receiving an MD from Northwestern University and a BS in Chemistry from Stanford University.
